What we process

prompt-guard inspects text you submit to the API to return a safety verdict. By default the engine is deterministic and stateless — submitted text is processed in memory to compute the verdict and is not stored. For Pro/Scale accounts, a truncated 60-character preview and metadata (verdict, detected categories) may be retained to power your dashboard; you can disable preview retention in settings.

PII handling

When redaction is enabled, detected PII is replaced before any logging. We do not sell or share submitted content. Data handling is aligned with India's DPDP Act, 2023 and the GDPR.

Account data

We store your email, API keys, and billing identifiers (via Razorpay/Stripe) to operate your account.
